a repository of information about my original characters (OCs) - dana & xavier blind, and eva gillespie.
I'm not entirely sure how this site will take shape. as of 5th feb 2026, my main plan is to start with a summary of my characters' lore and interpersonal dynamics, and branch out from there. I may also archive some of my writing here in the future. this can contain nsfw content and strong language, which I'll warn for appropriately when I link to it. other than that, I'll add some random information, too, like how many times dana would've seen karnivool live, and what shows he would've gone to. perhaps I'll write some journal entries in character as well for some creative writing practice.

dana and xavier, as their shared last name might suggest, are brothers. I originally created and wrote down some of their lore in early 2024 for what I thought would be some brief fun. I wanted to design characters that I thought represented two TOOL albums - xavier, the younger of the two, represents lateralus, and dana, obviously the older of the two, represents 10,000 days. as it stands, this part of their lore is recalled more in their designs than their stories. both of them have tattoos inspired by their respective albums, and they are indeed TOOL fans (though dana's favourite band is actually karnivool, and I reckon xavier would love gojira).
eva, dana's girlfriend, came into the creative picture much later. I believe I started to conceptualise her around early july of 2025. I'm not sure what inspired this, really - maybe I figured dana shouldn't be entirely solitary, maybe I was projecting my own fleeting desires for a girlfriend. she wasn't initially formed around a base concept like the blind brothers, though, and instead I've been developing and decorating her character over time, rather than intuiting everything about her all at once. I do feel confident in saying that she's probably the most perfect fit for dana I could possibly have come up with.
they're all australian - specifically from western aus - though d & x are from tiny regional pinjarra, and while eva is originally from mandurah, she spent most of her life in the perth cbd.
d & x had a childhood that would make the devil cry. for a long time they were stuck with neglectful, often abusive parents, which left dana to essentially raise xavier, and to some extent also his own parents whenever they'd be in too rough a state to function. dana worked and studied ceaselessly in order to take advantage of WA regulations and move himself & xavier out sometime after he (dana) turned 17 (at which time xavier was 15). they continued to live together since - in the same exact house, no less - until dana moved in with eva for a while circa age 23, though he moved back in with xavier when eva finished her studies and went to work in greece.
